What social network sites do you regularly visit? And why?

I know nothing about these sites to I'm curious which sites people use.

I have tried Twitter and have used that for a month or so, but I find the 140 character limit too stifling. This week, I started using Facebook and really like it because it's more interactive, and I can connect with a lot of old colleagues and friends and meet new people. I've also found old friends through LinkedIn, though I haven't used the site to build a professional network so far, not least because people in my field (history) are a bit old-fashioned that way.; ▶ Reply to This

To stay in touch with people, I'm on Twitter a great deal, post quite a lot of images to Flickr, and professionally, I use LinkedIn, but not nearly as actively as some friends. Twitter is handy, there are clients for it on everything from the web to Mac to Blackberry and can be used from any cell phone that can send a text message.; ▶ Reply to This
