African Americans and swine flu vaccine, are you kidding me

I just heard your story on how African Americans are not getting the swine flu vaccine because of the regrettable Tuskegee experiments conducted some 40 or 50 years ago. Are you kidding me?

If certain African Americans are that ignorant that a vaccine being offered to everyone white black or Chinese is some how a racist plot to do them harm, well all I can say is more vaccine for me.

I note it did not stop these folks from getting the polio vaccine as children same for measles and mumps and perhaps the flu vaccine in the past.

While WAMU has a responsibility to present all views (except apparently those who do not support a trolley on Columbia Pike), I fear giving visibility to these kinds of baseless and bizarre views will stop some from getting the swine flu shot.
