"Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad says nuclear weapons are the arms of the last century, calls for global nuclear disarmament."

So Mahmoud, just what is it in that secret bunker of yours and just why are you spending all that money on developing nukes?

The big question is why we don't just fly soem F-16s over there and take those bad boys out. It sends a message (are you listening Dear Leader) and it sets him back a bit. AND if we don't want to do it, I know a country not far from there that will. Screwing around with this madman only makes him look strong and us look week. Negative behavior should never be rewarded.

Did you see how Barack played this one? Beautiful!!! set him up and took him down!!!

Let Mahmoud shoot his mouth off and then confronted him with the truth, made him look like the liar/idiot he is. Barack is my hero!!!

So John , if the Middle East is a tennis court, partners A & B (Israel & USA) are allowed to have racquets(Nukes) while partners C&D (Iran and Syria) will just have to use their hands ??? I think that you should place yourself in either C or D
and think what you would do if your country was encircled by the nukes of A & B. Since you like to sound like Tony Soprano, what would Tony do if he were Iranian ? Green Warrior

Easy answer. The Middle East is NOT a tennis court and I am not Tony Soprono.

Ignorance is bliss, John. No wonder someone like Bush was elected. "Videocracy", the film about Berlesconi's manipulation of the media and the dumbing down of the avg Italian should have a sequel about American voters.

So the other option is we let these guys jerk us around for a bit and then we impose some sanctions which don't work and then we tighten em up a bit and they don't work and all the while the nuke work continues a pace and then one day there is a mushroom cloud over Israel?

Ok, my plan is no good, what is your plan?

The reason we are probably not flying F-16's over Iran, is Iran has not broken any law, but the US media will not tell you that. Former UN inspector Scott Ritter wrote this article, which as far as I know was only published in the Guardian based in the UK: Keeping Iran honest | Scott Ritter

"While this action is understandably vexing for the IAEA and those member states who are desirous of full transparency on the part of Iran, one cannot speak in absolute terms about Iran violating its obligations under the nuclear non-proliferation treaty. So when Obama announced that "Iran is breaking rules that all nations must follow", he is technically and legally wrong."

Scott Ritter is very diplomatic in how he writes his article, where former Reagan economist Paul Craig Roberts just comes write out and says Obama is lying.

Another War in the Works by Paul Craig Roberts

In light of how heavily censored the US media is, maybe Mahmoud Ahmadinejad is not as crazy as you think he is:

In order for you to fully comprehend what I am saying, I would recommend reading two very honest books by men who wrote US war propaganda (as they put it) for WWI. Both men served on the US Committee for Public Information (CPI) for WWI.

Propaganda by Edward Bernays (1928)

Public Opinion by Walter Lippmann (1922)

I truly believe these are the most important books I've ever read in my life. Every college or university should make these books required reading. People would never look at the media the same way again. People would probably never look at the way they perceive the wold the same way again.

Well Amy that was an impressive post. I will be looking at those. Not to go off topic, I will be posting a new thread on is the US press censored as I find that hard to believe in this country we have censorship of the press who does this and why.
