'"What is the What'" Update

President Obama read this book and recommended it to his cabinet just this past May. In November 2006 , NPR interviewed the authors and it was fascinating. This book has recently become a college reading requirement at some universites (Duke, Ohio State, Univ of MD). It is a recommended essay topic for college applications. The movie rights are in the works and a film is being developed. It would be great to have an update on NPR. Mr. Deng will be giving a lecture at St. Marks of Highland, MD this Friday Nov 6th. A small,intimate venue, public can attend. Would like to hear another interview on NPR. He is doing awesome things and trying to target young women, particularly with secondary education but it fascinating to me that their families turn down this free education.
