The Conversation

No! No! Ai-eeeeeeeeeeee! Years ago I got a young kitten. I decided, 'I'll teach the cat to walk on a leash.' Well, I had no trouble teaching him to walk on the leash, but it turned out to be a terrible idea. He got the desire for the out-of-doors and it only led to trouble! He always wanted out! I finally had to just let him out on his own. He meowed forever at the door and ripped up the carpet by the door trying to get out. I would recommend not taking cats out on leash walks. The woman who called in said the cat had escaped and already had a taste of the outdoors. But that is nothing compared to the addiction s/he will get if taken out on walks.
