Welcome to The Conversation, the online meeting place for WAMU 88.5 listeners, producers, hosts, and reporters. This is the where the conversation continues after the show -- the place for you to give us ideas, comments, and start conversations of your own with other public radio fans. (You probably already know this, but in case you're visiting from out of town, WAMU 88.5 is the leading public radio station for NPR news and information in the greater Washington D.C. area.)

Before you post your first comment or start your own discussion, please take a moment to familiarize yourself with our Community Guidelines.

There is a "Tips for New Members" discussion.

We have one forum, called "Participate in the Process," for our producers and reporters to ask questions and solicit idea from our listeners. You can reply to any topic here, but you won't be able to start topics of your own.

The other forum to visit is "Start Your Own Conversation," where members share ideas and ask questions of us and of each other. You can start topics here. We prefer they be show or station related, but you'll see we actually do host a variety of discussion topics.
